Stonks

Stonks walks a tight line between nervous post-punk, shadowy noise, and deconstructed jazz. Creaks, saturated textures, and compositions where absurdity rubs up against anxiety.

Something unstable, swinging between urgency and detachment, physical tension and blurry thoughts. A kind of nonchalance floating over something darker, like a smile hiding a cramp.

With Badger, their second EP released on EXAG’ Records, the band pushes this shifting sound further to gain intensity, to make bodies vibrate as much as nerves, stepping away from post-punk clichés by injecting movement, groove, momentum. No big speeches, just a clear urge to make noise that makes you move.
